Skin test policy
A Skin Test must be carried out at least 48 hours before your colour service if you are:
- Changing shade of colour
- Haven't had colour with us before
- Not had a test for over 12 months
- Had any type of skin tattoo recently
- Had any type of allergic reaction since your last appointment
In the industry there has been a call for there to be better procedures in place; because of this we have got a new Allergy Alert Protocol. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are now calling this an ALLERGY ALERT TEST (AAT) No longer a skin test.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We know it is a pain to have to come in to the salon before a colour but it is for your welfare. The new protocol means there is a slightly different procedure. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You will have reminders sent to you via email and text message to pop in for a test. This cannot be no later than 24-48 hours before your colour.
We hope you understand and see that this is a new efficient way forward. We will not be able to go a head with any colour service if you need an Allergy Alert Test. Any appointments that are not able to go a head within the 48hours cancellation policy will be charged 75% of total service cost if we cannot proceed with the service as it is the clients responsibility to make sure your AAT is up to date.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On the day of your colour appoinment we will double check by asking you some more questions. We appreciate you taking the time to follow our protocol.
